My trip was ok. Could have been better, but lately my standards have been lowered. Must be because of coming here. Bah, anyway, here's a rundown of the highlights of the different days.
Day 1: Nothing special. My bro put cinammon on fries thinking it was salt.
Day 2: Saw Uluru. Really it was just a big rock. I seriously don't understand what all the hoopla is about but then again, I'm not a big fan of geography. The colour changing bit was a letdown though. It just went between different shades of red.
Day 3: Didn't do anything much that day. Complained about how amazingly expensive things there are because a single company has monopolised the area.
Day 4: More complaining. Shopped for souvenirs. Went to see Kata Tjuta and climbed up a rocky wet path. Well, my family climbed. I kind of danced. That night we went out to see stars. For the strangest reason, I kept seeing an old man and a young girl in the sky looking down at me. It was weird.
Day 5: The day we went back. Wanted to buy stuff for my friends but it was majorly expensive. I'm not saying my friends aren't worth the money. I'm saying the item itself is not worth the money. I mean, how am I supposed to willfully part with more than A$30 if I can get the same item for less than S$10? It makes no sense. Also, was amazed at the lack of censorship with adverts in this country. In this one day I saw adds celebrating mormonism(thats a cult) and another one with rabbits having sex.
Thats about it. If I suddenly remember more I'll put it in.
